  • Our products have a lead time of 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the product.
  • A 60% deposit is required to initiate orders.
  • The balance is due before delivery.

  • Installation Warranty: We provide a one-year warranty on installation.
  • Product Warranty: The product warranty is based on the manufacturer's or supplier's provided warranty.
  • Warranted to be free from defects for their usable lifetime with the original purchaser.
  • Excludes damages from wear, sun damage, misuse, improper cleaning, unauthorized reinstallation, and chemical exposure.
  • Defects must be reported within 48 hours of installation.
  • One-year warranty for installation-related issues.
  • Factory warranties apply beyond one year, including service and repairs.
  • Shades over 96 inches wide may show waves or wrinkles.
  • "Inside Mount" shades may have width reductions.
  • Blackout shades may not block all light.
  • Warranties for motorized components are limited to those provided by the original manufacturers (Somfy, Crestron, Norman, Horizons,Graber).
  • Pre-wiring guidelines are for professional electrical contractors.
  • We are not liable for guideline inaccuracies or installation errors by contractors.
  • Fabric characteristics may cause variations.
  • Responsibility for adjusting draperies due to stretching or shrinkage falls to the purchaser.
  • Warranties are provided by the original manufacturers (Progressive Screens, KE, Sunpro, Bambrella).
  • Furniture, Lighting, Tiles and Stones, Accessories for Home Decor, Wall Covering, Rugs, Yachting Furniture, Window Covering for Yachting, Mirrors, Windows and Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Bathroom Vanities, Dexter Top, Hardware (Emtek, Amerock, Baldwin, Assa Abloy, Deltana, Yale, Bobrick, Hardware Resources): All products are subject to the warranties provided by their original manufacturers. Shades By Samar Jiha will facilitate the claim process but is not liable beyond the manufacturer's warranty.
  • We are not responsible for dissatisfaction with the final appearance or fabric choices.
  • Ensure valuables are removed from the work area prior to installation.
  • We are not liable for damage to items not removed from the installation area.
  • Delivery dates are estimates and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Modifications must be mutually agreed upon before production begins.
  • Customers are responsible for costs due to amendments after production has started.
  • Custom-made products are final and cannot be canceled or returned once production commences.
  • Orders require a 60% deposit, with the balance due before delivery or installation.
  • A 2.5% discount is applied if the full invoice is settled at the time of deposit.
  • Monthly finance charge of 1.5% on outstanding balances.
  • We retain the right to file a lien against property for unpaid balances as per Florida Statutes Chapter 713.
  • In case of legal intervention for unpaid invoices, reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs will be recovered.
  • All terms adhere to Florida State law, with jurisdiction in Miami-Dade or Broward County.
  • Appointments canceled less than 24 hours prior are subject to a $100 rebooking fee.
  • $100 monthly fee if delivery is not taken within 30 days after the product's arrival.
  • Shades & Design Studio does not warrant its products or services against competition.
  • Any likeness or similarity to other products or services is purely coincidental.
